Cat’s Pride® Sets Ambitious Goal to Donate One Million Pounds of Cat Litter to Animal Shelters Nationwide

The Go Big or Go Home campaign by Cat's Pride® has established a lofty objective: giving one million pounds of cat litter to shelters nationwide.

Shelters for animals depend on fundamental items such as litter to perform their rescue missions. When supplies are limited, it becomes more challenging for shelter workers to concentrate on their primary goal—placing cats into permanent homes. The Go Big Go Home campaign tackles this shortage by delivering crucial resources to shelters that are most in need.

At the heart of this initiative lies Cat's Pride's collaboration with American Humane Society, whose Second Chance® Grants program provides funding for life-saving animal care at shelters nationwide. The two campaigns complement each other well—jointly, they cover both the tangible items and the monetary assistance that shelters require.

"The purpose of our Second Chance Grants program is to offer animals in need a real opportunity, and the Cat's Pride Go Big Go Home campaign fits seamlessly with that goal," stated Dr. Robin Ganzert, President and CEO of American Humane Society. "Working with Cat's Pride enables us to broaden our reach and link additional supporters to avenues for helping shelter animals. Each contribution—whether litter or grant money—allows shelters to perform their vital work more effectively."

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Just put Cat's Pride litter on your shopping list or add it to your online cart—each time you buy, a pound of litter goes to a shelter that needs it. Purchase from leading grocery stores across the country or online through Amazon, Walmart, and Chewy.com. Locate a nearby retailer at catspride.com/store-locator.

Cat owners can increase their contribution by signing up for the complimentary Cat's Pride Club and choosing a nearby shelter to get donated litter. For additional information or to make a direct donation to American Humane Society’s Second Chance Grants, go to catspride.com/litterforgood.
